As Uslu Architects, we designed and delivered a turnkey office for Erkut İnşaat in Istanbul. The company relocated its headquarters to a villa in Beykoz Acarkent, and we redefined its function based on the organizational hierarchy and business needs. The villa, originally a residential structure and later used as a nursery, underwent extensive architectural interventions from the exterior facade to the floor plan voids, transforming it into a fully functional office space. We used a design language that aligns with the construction company’s corporate identity and conceptually supports the industry it operates in. The exterior facade was redesigned to incorporate brick, a fundamental material in construction, making the building not only functional but also symbolically representative of the company’s field. We also paid attention to the villa’s landscaping, integrating architectural elements to enhance the overall aesthetic. Key details, including the nighttime appearance of the building and features aimed at boosting its brand visibility, were considered to create a standout facade. Inside, we developed an office that evokes the feeling of an urban street as one moves through the space, blending interior and exterior elements. The entrance features a reception area that strengthens the corporate and powerful image of the building. We continued the brickwork from the exterior into the interior, complemented by red-toned marble details. The combination of light oak tones, ceramic wall cladding, and various material transitions resulted in a dynamic and robust commercial space.
